Can you believe it? This is a still life done by a Primary 3 student! 1st shading and toning attempt by Joy and we are happy with the result. Tho there are still rooms for improvement, but we can definitely see the effort put in :) Good job Joy!

This session of still life drawing is something new to Cady i must say. With few bottles, cup & glass placed in front of her, she needs to learn how to observe and put what she sees down onto paper.

I realised that young kids like Cady may not really know how to appreciate Still Life drawing. They may find it a bit 'mind-restricting' cos it is all about observation, nothing imaginative. To raise her interest level, we decided to give her the flexibility to "create" a window/painting as a background, so that she can make use of her imagination to draw what she wants. This works! Cady drew a small little garden with trees, flowers and sunshine. This is Cady's world. Her drawings are usually filled with cheery moments

Another great masterpiece done by Debbie. She has chosen an autumn scenary pix, adding on her own imagination by including the lake and small little hut in her drawing. Love the colour that she has chosen. She has successfully created the 'autumn' feel, injected so much liveliness into it.

Most importantly, we can see that Debbie enjoyed herself very much when she was creating this artpiece. Smiles always on her face, glowing brightly just like sun shining on the autumn leaves :)
