JIN ANN - Happy Mothers' Day
JinAnn really has a very sweet nature. She took her initiative, wanting to make a card for her mummy for Mothers' Day. She enjoys cutting and pasting and of course happily i helped her with it too :). From this masterpiece which she has created for her mummy, we can tell that she loves PINK! Girlish JinAnn is back! Haha...
JIN ANN - This is my Name
Medium: Mixed Medium
Date of Creation: 3 May 2008
This is an assignment given to the younger kids. We wanted to teach them how to write their name in 3D format. Not an easy task for them to see things in 3-dimensional. To keep her focus in finishing the work, we allowed her to do some cutting and pasting of coloured papers, something that she enjoyed most.
YEETONG - Creative Land of Santorini
Time to 'grill' the students with observation drawing and ideal use of colours we thought.
In this session, our intention is to get the students to do lines drawing of the scenic view of Santorini and then paint it with poster colours. Multiple colours of buildings and pathways is allowed. They can have free play in the use of colours!
For the more advanced students, the focus is mainly on the use of colours. As for the younger kids, we allowed their creative juices to flow freely, adding their own elements in their creation.
ADITYA - My Warrior Poster
YEETONG - My Neighbours
This idea striked me while I was observing Debbie when she was drawing. She loves drawing housing estates and while drawing, she started counting no. of windows she has drawn...
*tink*tink* - Won't it be interesting to get the students to draw the uniqueness of their neighbours? If we were to observe blocks of HDB estates, it could be an interesting sight. Every unit has got its own character and their window may tells a 'story' about the family. We want to let the students' imagination run wild!
Quite impressed by some of the masterpieces created by the students. They never failed to surprise you. Always prepared for the unexpected when enjoying their work :P
