WEIXIONG - My City

Weixiong is getting more and more independent. At this young age of 5, he is able to keep his focus when drawing. He loves vehicles! We gave him the freedom to draw whatever he likes onto the plastic sheet and of no surprise, vehicles are his choice! :)

1st artpiece created by Hema in our art class. We taught him basic toning technique as well as introducing him to mixed medium usage for an artwork creation. Pretty good result and he is really proud of his own masterpiece. Good job Hema

DIVESH - By The Beach

Although Divesh is only in his Primary One, he has the capability to deliver work that is beyond standard of his peer. We decided to introduce him to colour toning technique, something that is new to him. Though he may find it a bit challenging at this point in time, it is definitely a good start for him. Good job Divesh!

The key objective set for this lesson is to teach Carmen the proper technique of colour toning. Having 'Sunset by the Beach'as the background, we wanted Carmen to apply toning effect to the Sun, sky and sea using Oil Pastel. Upon completion of the background, we overlayed a plastic sheet to the drawing and gave Carmen the freedom to let her imagination run wild in creating her own scenario. Not a bad attempt by Carmen :)
